ChamSys Reaches For New Worlds At Prolight + Sound

FRANKFURT – Learning has been called a bridge that takes us from “what is to what can be.” That makes it an important tool for anyone aspiring to “reach across worlds,” as ChamSys proclaims in the statement defining its mission for Prolight + Sound 2024, which runs March 19-22.

True to this principle, the company is supporting the impressive collection of MagicQ and GeNetix products it will be showcasing at Hall 12.1, booth E21 in Messe Frankfurt with a robust schedule of educational and training sessions in both German and English, including a keynote talk by Christian (“Rocketchris”) Glatthor, whose widely acclaimed work has included tours by longtime client Rea Garvey, Evanescence, Snow Patrol, and others.

ChamSys’ learning sessions will take place in the Jade Room, located near Hall 12.1. All those who attend a training session will be entered into a drawing to win a MagicQ Compact Connect, the versatile, lightweight control surface that connects to a PC or Mac and is capable of sending up to 64 universes of ArtNet and sACN directly from its onboard port with no need for external devices.

In addition to the Rocketchris session the learning schedule will include:

  • MagicQ MQ250M Stadium Console, on the go show control.
  • Introduction to Quick Q (German and English)
  • MagicQ MQ70, creativity on the fly
  • GeNetix, a guide to the series of nodes, gateways, switches, and PoE devices that work on the wall or in the rack.

A complete schedule and registration form can be found at https://www.eventbrite.com/cc/prolight-sound-2024-chamsys-training-2967279

Complementing these learning experiences will be a standout collection of ChamSys products including the MagicQ MQ500M Stadium. Visitors to the booth will also be able to get a first ever look at a brand-new addition to the ChamSys family.  The company can’t release details of this product yet, but word is that it will be a game changer.

That’s not surprising. After all, putting more power in the hands of lighting professionals, whether in the form of breakthrough products or meaningful learning programs, is a core part of the ChamSys mission – and a sure way to reach across worlds.
