Optoelectronics manufacturer CAO Group has named the Avnet LightSpeed™ business unit of Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas as its first authorized electronics distributor, allowing exclusive distribution rights for the new Dynasty™ integrated power LED line. LightSpeed will distribute the entire CAO Group line of solid state illumination products and system-level solutions. The new alliance was jointly announced by Dr. Densen Cao, owner, president and CEO of CAO Group, and Cary Eskow, director of the new Avnet LightSpeed™ unit.
Dynasty LEDs are a fusion of mechanical and optical engineering, with high brightness, high power LEDs (1 watt) that are readily replaceable, hermetically sealed, and require no secondary heat sink. “There’s nothing else like it,” Eskow says.
Both CAO and Avnet LightSpeed focus on the high brightness illumination product market, with applications in interior/exterior architecture, specialty lighting, traffic control, channel letters, large format signage, and luminaire design, as well as medical, dental, and clinical systems.
