Burgess Launches displayLED

Giant video screen veteran Graham Burgess, formerly of Lighthouse Technologies, has launched displayLED, a giant video screen brokerage for all aspects of the business from the sale of previously owned screens to new screens and rental projects. The company’s business hub is its website, www.displayLED.com, which went live on February 1 and carries details of screens available for purchase, as well as advice and background information designed to help potential buyers in their choice.

DisplayLED is independent of any screen manufacturer and will be able to offer purchasers a choice of many different manufacturers and models, advising impartially on the best model for a particular application, the most appropriate previously owned screen for price sensitive ventures, and bring the right people together for rental projects.

“The combined experience within displayLED spans sales, marketing, technical support and project management is at an extremely high level,” explains Burgess. “This means that whatever a client might want--be it a previously owned screen, a new one, or help putting a rental project together--we’re in the perfect position to find the screen that will best fit their needs. And our technical expertise means that we can help them right the way through the process from initial advice, through project management and installation to maintenance in the years to come.”

Even before the company officially opened its doors, a number of contracts were already in the pipeline. “The word is spreading fast,” adds Burgess. “Not only have we had a significant number of sales enquiries prior to launch, we’ve also been approached by a number of manufacturers who want us to sell their products exclusively. But we will remain independent, as that’s what gives us the edge and our clients the best deals.”

The company also offers consultancy and installation services through David Gunn, who has worked with Graham for many years and heads the company’s technical support and integration team.

“People are always looking to maximise their budgets,” says Burgess. “It’s a world-wide market in which there is clearly a demand for an expert broker to match the right equipment to the right buyer and we’re confident we will fulfil that role.”
