Brawner & Associates Adds to Production Staff

has announced that David Loftin and Kim Corley are the latest additions to their fulltime production team. Loftin will be project managing, consulting and assisting with lighting design and coordination projects while Corley will be assisting with CAD design and project development.

David Loftin brings over 30 years of experience to Brawner and Associates. He has operated a scene shop in upstate New York producing sets for regional opera companies, designing lighting for numerous operas, musicals, dance, and drama productions, and served as production manager for one of the largest shows in Branson, MO. His experience includes teaching technical direction and lighting design at University of Illinois and Southwest Missouri State. During this time he worked with the USITT helping to develop the recommendations for Stage Rigging Standards. He served as Co-Commissioner of health and safety, presenting seminars and workshops in rigging and shop safety while coordinating and managing the first Masters Rigging Workshop in 1988. Loftin has spent the last few years working freelance as a master electrician, rigger, project manager, consultant and scenic artist.

Kim Corley has been added as lighting design assistant. Kim comes from a background of mechanical design engineering, architectural design, project management and has several years of touring experience. Corley has over thirty years experience in drafting including fifteen years of CAD design in various CAD software including 3D rendering and CAD development. He also has experience in site supervision and cost estimation, and he carries a degree in mechanical design.
