Big Apple Institute To Explore Copyright Protection

As part of an ongoing series of Designer Business sessions, the Big Apple Insitute will present a seminar entitled Protecting Your Ideas - Copyright Protection on Saturday, March 9 at 10:00am, in the first floor Common Room at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, 721 Broadway, in Manhattan.

Topics of discussion include:

What do you do if someone steels your design ideas?
Recent court decisions regarding ownership of theatrical designs;
Various safeguards that are afforded to holders of copyrights and design patents:
Other issues that will help designers defend and protect their work.
