As part of an ongoing series of Designer Business sessions, the Big Apple Institute presents a seminar on Copyright Protection on Saturday, March 9 at 10:00 am, in the first floor Common Room at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, 721 Broadway, in Manhattan.
The seminair will deal with such topics as:
Your designs are your property - right?
What do you do if someone steels your design ideas?
Recent court decisions regarding ownership of theatrical designs;
Various safeguards that are afforded to holders of copyrights and design patents;
Other issues that help designers defend and protect their work.
