Barbizon Lighting Company Welcomes Joel Fisher As Northeastern Director Of Operations

NEW YORK CITY. Barbizon Lighting Company is pleased to announce Joel Fisher as the new Northeastern Director of Operations. Fisher joins the Barbizon Lighting Company with over 20-years of experience in the media and entertainment industry. Fisher’s unique background in entertainment production, corporate operations, and customer/employee/supplier relations uniquely suits him to be a key strategic leader in the Northeast Region as Barbizon continues to evolve business models and processes to best serve the fast-changing needs of clients.

Joel comes to Barbizon with a unique mix of skills and experience: with roots in Television Production, experience in working across multiple disciplines, and a long track record as a successful business operator. Fisher will be responsible for day-to-day operations and management of Barbizon’s flagship New York office and will report to Tom Madden. 
Fisher started in the industry working for Nickelodeon as a production coordinator and rose through the organization in numerous roles in Florida, Los Angeles, and eventually New York culminating as the Vice President of talent operations. Most recently, in the role of Commercial Operations Lead at ?What If! Innovation Joel oversaw the daily operations of the US office and was responsible for opportunity and pipeline management, revenue forecasting, financial management and leading the North American commercial operations team.
