KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Bandit Lites proudly welcomed Ella Pinchok as the newest Integration Intern at its Knoxville location, where she gained hands-on experience supporting the company’s integration and technology initiatives while learning the behind-the-scenes processes that power live entertainment productions.
A lifelong fan of live music and performance, Pinchok developed an early fascination not only with what audiences experience during a show, but also with the extensive work required to bring productions to life.
“I have grown up around live music and all sorts of performances and have been always fascinated with what the audience sees and the work that goes into the production itself,” said Pinchok.
Currently involved with her university’s Music Industry Club (MIC), Pinchok was first introduced to Bandit Lites through an opportunity to tour the company’s Nashville facilities. The experience left a lasting impression.
“I am involved with my campus’ MIC (Music Industry Club) and we had the amazing opportunity to tour the Nashville facilities,” she explained. “Roth reached out with a Knoxville opening and I knew this was something I couldn’t turn down.”
Bandit Lites is a proud sponsor of the MIC. Chase Strickland, Business Manager for Bandit Lites and liaison to the MIC, reflected on Ella and the importance of supporting student organizations. “We found Ella through UT’s Music Industry Club. She’s sharp, driven, and ready to start her career in the industry. Bandit is lucky to partner with such talented, hardworking students, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds!” Strickland said.
During her internship, Pinchok worked alongside Bandit’s Integration team, gaining insight into both the technical and operational aspects of the entertainment lighting industry. She also had the opportunity to help prep several exciting projects, including a prominent new Nashville venue, on site work at Dollywood and some athletics productions for the University of Tennessee, to name a few. She’s been particularly eager to understand the logistics that support successful productions and learn more about the technology that drives today’s live events.
“I am so thrilled to learn the logistics behind a production and how a family company can grow to the incredible size Bandit has,” said Pinchok. “I really respect the culture and work environment and am excited to learn the technical trade of lighting as well.”

Vice President of Operations Roth Edwards spoke highly of Pinchok when commenting on her work ethic and exceptional initiative.
“Ella has an inquisitive nature coupled with a strong work ethic and whatever it takes attitude. These qualities will take her far, in this industry or wherever she chooses to focus her talents. I look forward to working with her.” Edwards said, later adding, “There are a lot of people who say they want to be a part of something. Who dream about things that would be fun to do. Ella is one of the rare few that do the work to make it happen.”
For Pinchok, the internship represents an important step toward achieving her long-term career goals in the live music industry.
“I want to work in live music for the rest of my career and I am so excited to have this as the next step,” she shared.
