Bandit Lites supplies Linkin Park and Farm Aid

Bandit Lites

recently supplied crew and equipment for two very different shows. On the European leg of its world tour, American hard rock band Linkin Park made stops in the UK, France, Holland, Austria, and Germany. The band's blend of hard rock and cutting lyrics was a huge hit.

Left to right: Bandit COO Peter Heffernan, LD Gus Kidd Stanton, John Lisk, Morgan Evans, Roger Grybowicz, Bob Dallas, and Bandit VP Richard Willis.

Lighting designer Gus Kidd Stanton used an extremely versatile rig to deliver a light show as powerful as the music it was highlighting. The system utilized moving lights by Martin Professional but also relied heavily on traditional PAR-64s and ACL lamp bars. (See equipment list at bottom of page.) The show delivered looks that had the band in awe and looking forward to what Stanton would come up with next. Linkin Park is currently touring the US on the Family Values fall tour.

On the other end of the musical spectrum, Farm Aid, which has become a fall tradition, pleased thousands and helped thousands more. This year's installment was held September 29 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Noblesville, IN, near Indianapolis.

The lineup this year featured Willie Nelson, Dave Matthews, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Arlo Guthrie, the Doobie Brothers, and Martina McBride. The Bob Peterson-designed lighting system featured the Martin MAC 2000 as well as other MAC series fixtures and High End Systems Cyberlights. (See equipment list at bottom of page.)

Bandit is proud to again be a part of this noble cause, and looks forward to many more years of this benefit to help our nation's farmers.
