The 2025 UK BAFTAs Celebrate Film & Television

This year's BAFTA Awards featured a musical contribution from 1990s boy band Take That, a piano accompaniment for the In Memoriam section from US actor Jeff Goldblum, and an opening musical number by the host, actor David Tennant, singing a reimagined version of The Proclaimers song I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles). The event took place in London's Royal Festival hall with a stage designed by Julio Himede and Yellow Studio, suspending illuminated threads around the BAFTA mask and podium to surround the winners in a warm glow.
