Lighting industry veteran Arthur Smith has rejoined the VLPS Nashville office where he enjoyed immense success throughout the 1980s and 90s, working with top acts such as Vince Gill, Wynonna, and Diamond Rio, among others. As account manager of the Nashville office, Smith will be responsible for sales not only in Music City, but also throughout the Southeast. Smith started with VLPS back in 1984 as a member of the event staff. He later became the general manager of the Nashville office 1991-2000.
"I'm looking forward to getting back to the people I worked with at VLPS and within the Nashville entertainment industry," Arthur Smith said. "Arthur will be a great asset in strengthening VLPS's presence in the country touring and Nashville television markets," said VLPS Nashville General Manager Julie Smith. "We're extremely proud that after a couple of years on the West Coast, Arthur has decided to return to VLPS Nashville."
