Apollo Design® and AVID Labs® Announce New Position and New Hires

Fort Wayne, IN (October 11, 2019) — Apollo Design Technology, Inc.® announces the appointments of Paul Cook as Production Technician and Ashley Gladin and Chance Parker as Customer Care Representatives.  

AVID Labs, Inc.®, a sister company to Apollo Design®, announces new Engineers, Josh Thomas, and Andrew Trenton.  

PAUL COOK 

Paul Cook accepted a post as Production Technician with Apollo Design®, specializing in laser printing and assembly. Paul holds a diploma in Graphic Design from the International School of Business, and a B.A. in Social Studies from Tri-State University. 

“We appreciate Paul’s work ethic and willingness to help out wherever he is needed,” states Keersten Nichols, President of Apollo Design and Supervisor. “Paul is always willing to help his teammates out, whether it is in the Art Department or the Production Department running printers and lasers.” 

With 17 years at Apollo in the Art Department as Graphic Artist, we look forward to Paul’s contributions in Production. 

ASHLEY GLADIN 

Ashley Gladin serves as a Customer Care Representative for Apollo Design®. Gladin is a graduate of Wayne High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. 

“Ashley knows no stranger. She works with most of our AV dealers and is a key component on our team. The customer always comes first, and her dealer base loves her,” shares Brandi Hite, Customer Care Manager. “Welcome to Apollo, Ashley.” 

CHANCE PARKER 

Chance Parker was offered a position as a Customer Care Representative for Apollo Design®. A graduate of Indiana University Purdue University – Fort Wayne, Parker holds a B.A. in Theater.  

“With Chance’s theater background, he will build strong dealer relationships,” assures Hite. “His dealer base is mostly West Coast, which means he will serve the West Coast time zone requests and questions. We are very enthusiastic about having Chance on our team.” 

JOSH THOMAS 

Josh Thomas joins AVID Labs® as a Product Design Engineer. Thomas graduated from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, where he majored in Physics and minored in Math.  

Joel Nichols, Chief Innovator for Apollo and AVID, and AVID Supervisor, commented, “Josh is a wonderful addition to the AVID team, bringing math, physics, and SolidWorks capabilities. Josh is concentrating on new production and custom projects for customers.” 

ANDREW TRENTON 

Andrew Trenton came on board the AVID Labs® team as Industrial Designer. A graduate of Syracuse University in New York, where Trenton obtained a B.S. in Industrial Design and minored in Sociology.  

“Andrew comes to us with an Industrial Design background. We’re thrilled to have him on board,” said Joel Nichols. “Andrew is doing more with customer projects. He brings great insight and capabilities to the team.” 

Commenting on the new position and all of the new hires, Joel Nichols expressed, “It’s good to have Cook, Gladin, Parker, Thomas, and Trenton in these roles. They’re adding a lot to Apollo and AVID’s capabilities with their skills.”
