Andy Holland Joins Robe UK

Robe UK has expanded its sales team with the appointment of Andy Holland as business development manager. Holland has been involved in lighting from an early age. Initially a hobby that led to a part-time job, and then regular semi-professional freelance work. He also pursued a career in IT and telecom sales. Holland is a qualified rigger--he attended a BTEC rigging course at Total Fabrications in conjunction with the PSA--and is currently studying for his City & Guilds 23/60 electrician’s certificate. He also runs his own successful lighting company, The Mobile Lighting Company, providing lighting and sound services to the entertainment industry.

Holland's role for Robe UK is to further develop the theatre, arts, and performance markets for Robe Show Lighting’s extensive product range. He has been working hands-on with Robe products for some time, owning, installing, and dry hiring much of the range himself. It was this brand awareness combined with his industry and production experience that prompted Robe UK managing director Ian Brown to get him onboard the Robe UK team.

Holland looks forward to the task ahead, stating, "I would like to be instrumental in making Robe a household name in the industry." Ian Brown comments, "I’m delighted that Andy’s working with us. Theatre and the performing arts is an important market, and we are looking forward to an active presence and positive results."
