Altman Rentals Expands Staff and Services

Altman Rentals, Inc. of Yonkers, NY announces that Stefan DeWilde has joined the production and rental company as director of production development.

“We are very happy to add Stefan to our strong team,” says Randy Altman, owner of Altman Rentals. “I believe that the addition of Stefan is another step in our ongoing commitment to provide our clients with knowledgeable and strong support for their production work. His new position at Altman Rentals will focus on working with many of our existing clients as well as introducing the services that Altman Rentals can offer to new clients. As a company, we are looking to expand our shop and continue to offer the latest technology as part of a comprehensive production package. Stefan’s background and his strong design and technical knowledge will be well suited to help our expansion.”

Prior to joining Altman Rentals, DeWilde worked for eight years as a lighting designer for Walt Disney Company’s Disney Event Productions based at Walt Disney World in Orlando. He most recently was production designer and account executive with Atmosphere, Inc. DeWilde also worked for the past two years as the production/lighting director for the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and White House Lighting for the Pageant of Peace in Washington DC.

DeWilde looks forward to working with Randy Altman and shares his vision to expand the scope of Altman Rentals’ services. “My eight years at Disney gave me the opportunity to work on a lot of different types of projects; corporate, parties, TV, and theatre. I see a lot of potential for growth at Altman Rentals and I really like the directions the company is going. We are trying to expand and broaden the client list and to offer a strong, complete production rental experience. The expansion of the rental inventory is a key focus and the development of new technology services. We are working towards having the latest technology as the industry expands into LEDs and video related services. We want to meet the needs of the production world and offer to designers and technicians all the tools and support they need.”
