Industry veteran Allan Nichols has been appointed sales director for Allen & Heath USA. Based in Nashville, TN, Nichols will manage all Allen & Heath USA sales staff and the company's domestic rep firms.
Nichols brings with him a wealth of experience in the pro audio industry and a thorough working knowledge of Allen & Heath consoles. Nichols joined Allen & Heath as director of sales in January 2001 from Crest Audio, where he was director of sales and marketing. Previously, Nichols was vice president of sales and marketing for Soundcraft USA and Amek USA for three years. Prior to that, he spent six years as national sales manager for Klark-Teknik and Midas.
Allen & Heath USA is a newly established organization set up by North American Pro Audio (NAPA) to provide US distribution for the British audio mixing console manufacturer. NAPA began representing Allen & Heath on August 1, 2002, ending the UK company's business relationship with the Utah-based Harman Music Group.
