A.C.T Lighting Announces Next MA Lighting NYC Designers’ & Programmers’ Forum

A.C.T Lighting, the exclusive distributor of grandMA consoles in North America, has announced that the second annual MA Lighting NYC Designers’ and Programmers’ Forum will be held May 25 and 26. Sessions for the two-day event will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Scharff Weisberg’s Long Island City facility. Attendance is by invitation only.

The forum is designed to help New York City-area lighting designers and programmers guide grandMA software development in the direction that best fulfills their needs.

“We came out of the first forum with a better understanding of how lighting designers and programmers work today and why they needed certain features in grandMA software,” says A.C.T. Lighting president and CEO, Bob Gordon. “Everyone was eager to share information on the way they work and what they were looking for in grandMA software. Now, a year later, MA Lighting has implemented many of the attendees’ suggestions.

“At this second forum we not only want to find out more from designers and programmers about how they use grandMA but also get their feedback on how their suggestions have already been implemented,” he explains.

Lighting designers and programmers in the New York City area who have not received invitations to the forum can email Bob Gordon at [email protected]. Seats will be assigned based on availability.
