4Wall Entertainment provided over 700 lighting fixtures and over 1,200' of Tyler GT Truss for the 36th Premio Lo Nuestro Awards at Kaseya Center in Miami, FL, last month. Lighting Designer Tom Kenny utilized the rental package for the show that was broadcast on Univision. Maluma, who led the list of nominees with 14 nods, opened the show and was followed by performances throughout the night by Anitta, Ángela Aguilar, Banda MS, Chayenne, Gente de Zona, Natti Natasha, Yandel, and many more.
Kenny collaborated with Production Designer Jorge Dominguez to create multiple levels and lots of linear lines. Additional support was provided by Mark Butts, Fuji Convertino, Alex Flores, Ronnie Skopac, House of Sam, and the Univision producers Uli and Uji, as well as crews from 4Wall and Acme.
The lighting team spent time a week at the 4Wall Orlando shop prepping for the show. Over 1,200' of Tyler GT Truss was pre-loaded with fixtures, which dramatically shortened the load-in time at Kaseya Center.
The LD's lighting package included an array of fixtures, including (90) CHAUVET Professional Rogue R1 BeamWash, (187) CHAUVET Maverick MK3 Wash, (79) GLP Impression X4 Bar 20, (114) Robe MegaPointe, (85) Robe BMFL Blade lights and more.
Kenny spoke about the gear and services 4Wall provided for the show.
