4Wall Entertainment Lights Mandalay Bay Convention Center

4Wall Entertainment recently completed more than a year of work on the new Mandalay Bay Convention Center and Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. 4Wall provided integration for the lighting control system for the Conference Center and Events Center, as well as manufacturing of all utility wall boxes for the Convention Center. Project scope also included providing the equipment and system engineering for the lighting control system for the new Convention Center.

Working with Mandalay Bay personnel, 4Wall designed a complete DMX distribution system, which incorporates Ethernet distribution, combined with traditional DMX patching. The dimming and control system is comprised of 13 ETC SR48 racks and 65 ILC relay cabinets, combined with 94 wall stations. 4Wall also programmed the system.

The Mandalay Bay Convention Center is one of the five largest convention facilities in the United States, covering 1.8 million sq. ft. It is the largest meeting facility on the Las Vegas Strip. The Mandalay Bay Events Center features 38,818 sq. ft. of exhibit space and 26,100 sq. ft. of meeting and function space. It seats 12,000 in a full arena setting.
