4Wall announces the addition of Karen Anne Blackman as Systems Engineer. As part of the new 4Wall East location in Moonachie, NJ, Karen’s primary focus is on developing the 4Wall system design and integration business in new areas of the country.
With a background in production electrics and stage management, Ms. Blackman joined the Systems Integration Group at Production Arts in 1995. Over seven years with Production Arts/PRG Fourth Phase, she held a variety of positions including project coordinator, quotations manager, and ultimately systems integration manager. In May 2002, she left PRG/Fourth Phase to work on a special project with Gary Fails and City Theatrical Inc., which offered Blackman a chance to work from the manufacturing side of the industry--a complete change which proved to be challenging and quite interesting to her. "I really enjoyed the peek into manufacturing, but it wasn't really what I wanted to be doing. I missed working with end users and contractors," Ms. Blackman said.
