31 Days Of Plots: Eurovision Song Contest 2021

Live Design's fourth annual 31 Days Of Plots features one production per day during the month of December 2021, highlighting a different lighting design, from across theatre, concert tours, corporate events, live for broadcast, and more, as we wind down 2021 and head toward the new year.

Day 14 visits with Henk-Jan van Beek, founder of Light H-Art, who spoke with Live Design from the Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam (The Netherlands) during the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. Watch as he shares his thoughts on his favorite part of designing for the show, which is viewed by an audience of more than 180 million every year. Lighting gear specified in the light plot was supplied by Ampco Flashlight. Scroll to see some of the key lighting personnel and videos of some of the acts he discusses.
