Broadway honored its own in a three-hour celebration of this season’s plays and musicals on Sunday evening, June 10, with a live broadcast of the 66th annual Tony Awards on CBS. Presented off-camera, the design categories were almost swept by Once for musicals and a clean sweep going to Peter and the Starcatcher for a play.
