10:15am-12:00pm: Don Holder: LEDs Versus Tungsten: a look at the brightness, color temperature, dimming, smoothness of field, beam-shaping ability, color mixing, and range of colors available in LED and tungsten sources.

12:00-1:00pm: Manufacturers Showcase : a great opportunity to see cutting-edge products from leading manufacturers and distributors

2:00-3:20pm: Christopher Akerlind: Throwing Out The Story, or, The Embrace Of The Space: An approach to creating light for theatre events, scenes, dance, and musical numbers, that puts emphasis on developing the intrinsic qualities of the given space, the set. We will investigate light's potential relationships to doors, floors, geometries, topographies, for example, that create playable, interesting, and effective looks.

3:30-5:00pm: Wendall K. Harrington: The Truth About Projection Design.... how lighting and lighting interface, intertwine, interconnect, and generally work together. Secrets revealed, it's not as hard as it looks, it's harder (well only if you want to do it right)!

7:30pm: Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark (Foxwoods Theatre, 213 W. 42nd Street plus post-show Q&A)
