Kevin Adams, Christopher Akerlind, and Wendall K. Harrington Join BLMC Faculty

Creative consultant Jules Fisher, who has led the Broadway Lighting Master Classes since their inception 17 years ago, has announced the addition of Kevin Adams, Christopher Akerlind, and Wendall K. Harrington to the BLMC Faculty. They join previously announced designers Beverly Emmons, Peggy Eisenhauer, Donald Holder, and Clifton Taylor, creating a star-studded galaxy of award-winning speakers who share their expertise with BLMC attendees both on stage and off.

“All of these designers have taken part in the BLMC in the past and have been invited back as a result of their continued outstanding work on Broadway, or their expertise in a specific field, such as cueing or color,” says conference director Ellen Lampert-Gréaux. "We are pleased they are all able to participate again this year."

The 2011 BLMC will be held at NYU's Skirball Center For The Performing Arts on Washington Square South in NYC on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 24 & 25, with the third day of sessions at Sardi's famed Broadway restaurant, on Thursday, May 26. The featured musical is Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark on Wednesday, May 25, with lighting by Don Holder.

Low cost housing in an NYU dorm is available as of May 22 for BPMC and BLMC attendees: Check out the BLMC housing and online registration information.
