Live Design will hold the second annual Concert Master Classes on December 3-4, 2011, at the University of Southern California's new Ronald Tutor Campus Center Grand Ballroom in Los Angeles. Jeff Ravitz of Intensity Advisors, the legendary LD best known for his collaboration with Bruce Springsteen, will again serve as creative consultant.
"We're so pleased to hold our second Concert Master Classes, based on the incredible success of last year's event," says Ravitz. "Concert design really requires its own curriculum, and we have put together an amazing group of talented designers that can share their knowledge, experience, and the tools of the trade with the next generation. No one else has an event quite like this.”
This intensive two-day course will once again cover both lighting and projection for the concert stage. “We could not have predicted how well last year's event would be received by attendees and sponsors alike, and needless to say, we were thrilled with the outcome," adds David Johnson, publisher of Live Design.
