Paint The Town Red With Aron Altmark At EDMMC In Las Vegas

Aron Altmark

Aron Altmark will speak at the 2014 Electronic Dance Music Master Classes (EDMMC) in Las Vegas, one of the hottest EDM locations in the country, in conjunction with LDI. EDMMC will explore the artistic, technical, and practical challenges of designing and programming for this burgeoning musical phenomenon. EDM's top designers, technicians and experts will lead sessions in two distinct tracks- one for lighting and projection, and one for audio. Register today while confidence rates last until July 31! Read about this awesome EDMMC lighting/projection speaker below!

Aron first fell in love with light attending a fine arts high school and through a camera lens. His photographer father taught him how to see light in the world around him and use it to create art at an early age, starting a lifelong obsession. This took him from his native Alabama all over the nation, with stops in Orlando, Las Vegas, Colorado, and Los Angeles. His first endeavors were in theatre and dance lighting before moving to Las Vegas and working in concert and nightlife, after which he moved to Los Angeles to work as a software specialist for the MA Lighting product line at A.C.T Lighting. During this time, he also produced independent light art/creative code works (Paint the Town Red) and freelanced as a programmer on various projects (Krewella 2013 Tour). Since joining SJ Lighting, Aron has spent most of his time programming on the EDM festival circuit (EDC, Paradiso, Ultra Music Festivals) and working on new nightclub installations. When not in front of a console or computer, Aron can be found on his bicycle somewhere outside.
