Online Registration For 2009 Live Design Broadway Master Classes Now Live

The online registration form for the 2009 Live Design Broadway Master Classes. went live as of January 22, 2009, as announced by Live Design’s associate publisher David Johnson, who urges all attendees to register now and take advantage of an early-bird special representing $100 off all prices through April 1, 2009.

Tony Award-winning lighting designer Jules Fisher and legendary sound designer Abe Jacob are once again the creative consultants for these intensive professional training courses. Faculty and Broadway shows will be announced shortly for all three Master Classes:

The 7th annual Broadway Sound Master Classes will be held May 16-17, at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, 721 Broadway, New York City, with all attendees seeing a performance on Saturday, May 16.

The 15th annual Broadway Lighting Master Classes run from May 18-20, at NYU’s Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, 566 LaGuardia Place at Washington Square South, with the Broadway show performance on Tuesday evening, May 19.

The 5th annual Projection Master Classes take place May 20-21, at NYU’s Eisner Lubin Auditorium, Kimmel Center, 60 Washington Square South, NYC. For the first time, the Projection classes will also see a Broadway show, which is scheduled for Wednesday evening, May 20.

Live Design has also been able to arrange inexpensive housing in a dorm at NYU starting on Sunday, May 17, 2009 for attendees at the Live Design Broadway Lighting Master Classes and Broadway Projection Master Classes at the special rate of just $70 per night in air-conditioned rooms in a suite with shared bathroom. All participants must be 17 years of age to stay in the dorm, and family members or friends not registered for the Master Classes cannot be accommodated. The dorms are within easy walking distance of the Classes.
