Towards 2000 vets form new company

Entertainment Environment Equipment (E3) Inc., a new design and distribution company established by former employees of Towards 2000, has opened a facility in North Hollywood, CA. The company specializes in lighting and audio systems.

Principals of E3 include Richard Rutherford, Danny Quinones, and Scott Feiwell. Quinones, a 15-year veteran of the industry, most recently spent seven years at Towards 2000; he will be responsible for market development and retail sales. Rutherford, another veteran of Towards 2000, brings over 20 years of industry sales and systems design experience. Feiwell will be responsible for overall corporate financial management.

The 5,000-sq.-ft. (450 sq. m) space will house corporate headquarters and main showrooms for audio and lighting systems. Showroom areas include multichannel playback audio systems, video projections, automated intelligent lighting systems, and special effects. In addition, there is 10,000 sq. ft. (900 sq. m) of lower floor facilities available for special events and film production.

E3's focus will be on design and sales of intelligent lighting and audio systems involving specialty applications for architectural and entertainment venues. One of the firm's featured lines will be Color Kinetics.
