I saw quite a bit of theatre in London, England, right before and after the terrible terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Beforehand, it was theatre as usual, but afterward it provided a kind of therapeutic activity, one that helped take my mind off the events at hand, at least for short periods of time.
