Production Resource Group (PRG) announced the appointment of David Keighley as head of all PRG UK operations.
Keighley, who has worked in the industry for over 25 years, was previously a managing director of the company's European operations. In his new role, Keighley will oversee what has become the largest live-event lighting, rental, and sales group of companies in the UK and Europe. The group includes the company's operations in Birmingham, Croydon and Greenford in the UK, and its sales and rental facilities in Europe.
Keighley began his career in the entertainment equipment industry in 1977, working for the international lighting company, See Factor, where he worked his way up to the position of managing director. In 1990, he left See Factor and toured for 18 months with Deep Purple as LD and production manager. Keighley then joined Samuelson Concert Productions and then Light & Sound Design (LSD) as managing director of UK operations. After LSD was acquired by PRG, Keighley worked to expand PRG's reach in Europe.
