Yamaha Corporation of America announces the appointment of Paul Furtkamp as national sales manager of its Commercial Audio Systems Division.
In his new position, Furtkamp is responsible for all divisional sales activities and the implementation of marketing plans throughout the U.S. This is his second tour of duty with Yamaha; from 1986 to 1997, he was a district sales manager for what was then called the Audio Guitar & Synthesizer Division, operating in the southern California and Ohio Valley territories. From 1997 until his return to Yamaha this year, he served as Eastern U.S. sales director for JBL Professional.
