Electronic Theatre Controls has named Mark Vassallo vice president of sales. Vassallo will work closely with ETC North American sales manager Mike Griffith, ETC Europe's David Catterall, and ETC Asia's Jimmy Cheung to develop the company's global sales strategy.
Vassallo, a lighting industry veteran, has worked with ETC for six years; his former position, Northeast regional sales manager, has been assigned to Joe DiNardo, previously the company's Northeast sales engineer. Meanwhile, Mike Griffith, who has led ETC's North American sales efforts, has assumed responsibility for Central and South American sales besides.
Bill Gallinghouse, who had been the acting managing director of ETC Europe and the company's vice president of sales, has departed to join Production Resource Group in New Jersey.
