July 14-20 the Alliance of International Entertainment Riggers, Risk International & Associates Inc., and the Technical Production Rigging Services of Walt Disney World will present a Risk Management Master I Class in Rigging Technology for Entertainment Riggers. The class, to be held at the Events Production Center of Walt Disney World in Orlando, costs $550 per person, an amount that does not cover transportation, housing, or food.
Subjects to be covered include rope technology, advanced sling use, OSHA health and safety information and standards, fall protection, hoist technology, basic electricity, and liability of technicians in entertainment.
