Digidesign has hired Ken DeLoria as worldwide director of live sound sales and Mike Case as European live sound sales manager. Together, they will introduce Digidesign's new Venue live sound console to the world.
DeLoria brings nearly 30 years of experience to Digidesign's entry into the live sound market. He will be responsible for putting together a global sales team, setting up world-wide distribution, and helping to guide marketing in the development of materials and programs. DeLoria founded and sold Apogee Sound Inc., a worldwide manufacturer of loudspeakers and amplifiers. His previous experience also includes eight years at McCune Sound providing touring systems and sound for major events.
Case will manage the sales of Digidesign's live sound products across Europe, and joins Digidesign from Yamaha Commercial Audio. He has extensive experience in live sound having worked for UK rental companies and manufacturers, including Amek where he was part of the team responsible for the Recall and 501 live consoles.
DeLoria is based in Daly City, CA, and Case is based in Pinewood in the UK.
