American DJ has unveiled two luminaires for creating special effects in large areas. The Splitter, as its name implies, splits light into four beams to give wide coverage. Among the effects is a "moonflower" that rotates in a circular pattern, moving in and out, then splitting off into four directions. Features include four dichroic colors, sound-activated programming, usage of a 24V, 250W lamp; the unit weighs 18lbs.
Also by American DJ, Lotus is a luminaire "that shoots out broad petals of vivid color over wide areas, producing a total of 60 tunnel beams with 20 multicolored triple lenses." Lotus utilizes an 800W lamp, has sound activation, is fan-cooled, and weighs 7lbs. AMERICAN DJ SUPPLY Los Angeles, CA
