The unintended result of Entertainment Design's October headline [“United We Stand: How four designers gave up the freelance life and went corporate,” p.16] — about the excitement and vagaries of forming a company to deliver design services — was the impression that the four talented Luce Group owners had given up their life as independent designers to go corporate. Actually, our four Luce Group authors continue to thrive in theatrical design — just as they are starting to thrive as a company for assignments where their design synergy matters. As we have in the past, we will surely continue to report on their theatre work.
