HIGH END SYSTEMS

X.SPOT XTREME

x.Spot Xtreme is available with two zoom lens options. With a 2:1 lens, it is 40% brighter than the original x.Spot with a 4:1 lens. Advances in lamp technology are key in creating this product. Philips developed the P3, or improved pinch lamp, which allows it to operate at higher temperatures than before, offering increased brightness and extended lamp life. Its patented Light Burst technology temporarily increases light output for special effects. Smooth movement, smooth CMY dichroic color mixing, and plenty of LithoPatterns and effects are included.

ETC

SOURCE FOUR® REVOLUTION

Theatrically oriented concert productions might consider ETC's entry into the automated luminaire market, the Source Four® Revolution. Retain-ing the brightness and color rendering of its incandescent source, Revolution also provides precision optics and fixture quietness. Not designed for fast-moving rock-and-roll needs, Revolution instead automates those qualities that designers find in the Source Four units. Color purists will gravitate toward its integration of traditional gel media. Technicians will appreciate the on-board dimming, the Quick Exchange Lamp feature, and the ease of cost-saving optional modules. Designers will value the QuietDrive technology behind the virtually noiseless automated parts. Many high-level touring shows are opting for its advantages, but this moving light is also an eminently affordable option for concert lighting at the community theatre, academic, or church level.
