Breakfast (again) in America

Just about every band that was popular in the 1970s has had a reunion tour on these shores, and this summer Supertramp joined the list with the aptly titled It's About Time tour. Credit goes to LD Roy Bennett for designing a "beautiful, magical" show with many visual layers. Lighting director Guy Forrestor is running the show from an LSD Icon Console(TM), which has been equipped with an LSD U.G.L.I. (Universal Guest Luminaire Interface) module to handle the various luminaires in the rig. Light & Sound Design is the tour's main lighting contractor and the lighting equipment includes: 38 Icons(TM), one Icon Console, six High End Systems Cyberlight(R) automated luminaires, 16 Vari*Lite(R) VL6(TM) automated spot luminaires, 14 PAR-64s, 21 ETC 50-degree Source Fours, eight 8-light Molefays, and 12 LSD BOB lights.

LSD's crew includes: lighting crew chief Bob Madison and lighting technicians Ken Delvo, Martin McLaughlin, and Jake Murray. The tour, which recently finished up its US shed dates, has headed back to Europe.
