Lithonia Lighting Group and Musco Lighting recently announced the formation of a national marketing alliance. The alliance will cooperate on certain projects to jointly offer a package including lighting products, controls, and installation services from both companies. No change in the ownership of either company is planned or anticipated.

Varon Lighting Inc. has acquired TSAO Designs Inc., a manufacturer of contemporary architectural lighting fixtures for commercial, institutional, and residential markets. TSAO was founded in 1968 by husband-and-wife architects Warren and Mai Arthur, and a third partner, architect John Gardner. Mrs. Arthur and Gardner will remain active with the company as designers of future TSAO fixtures and consultants on special projects. Walter Coleman has been named president and COO of TSAO.
