A merican DJ (Asia) Ltd. has opened an office, warehouse, and showroom in Taiwan, from which the Los Angeles-based company will distribute its entertainment lighting, audio, hardware, and software throughout Asia. Jason Echols, formerly with Antari Lighting and Effects in Taiwan, heads the new firm, which will be hitting the regional trade show circuit this year, including Spring Taitronics in Taipei, Taiwan; PLASA Shanghai and CALM Beijing in China; and PALA in Singapore.
