Twinsburg, OH-based Advanced Lighting Technologies Inc. (ADLT), which recently purchased W.J. Parry Electrical and inked a strategic partnership agreement with Fiberstars, is growing yet again. The firm plans to acquire Racine, WI-based Ruud Lighting Inc., the world's leading direct marketer of high-intensity discharge (HID) lighting systems, with a strong focus on metal-halide installations. Ruud, which has more than 20,000 customers, is expected to have 1997 fiscal year sales of more than $65 million.
