iColor Accent is Color Kinetics' new low-voltage, indoor/outdoor direct-view linear light that can display changing color and lighting effects. Ideal for architectural highlights such as building outlines, and other commercial, retail, or residential applications. Each iColor Accent unit is designed for interior and exterior use, and meets specifications for use in wet and damp locations. It is available in 8', 4', and 1' lengths and easily controlled in 1' intervals, enabling intricate effects and sophisticated light shows. iColor Accent can be controlled via a DMX512 lighting console, a PC, or a Color Kinetics controller. Each unit easily adapts to fit virtually any mounting environment, and comes with a UV-resistant diffuse plastic lens offering a viewing angle in excess of 270°.

Lithonia Lighting introduces Aeris, a new line of low-profile architectural luminaires for area and roadway lighting applications. Aeris is available in two sizes. The smaller Aeris 1 is sized to provide distribution patterns for walkways, pathways, and common areas while the Aeris 2 is designed for open parking areas, entry drives, and roadways. A wall-mount option allows lens-up orientation for indirect lighting of atriums and lobbies to provide a consistent look from exterior to interior. Aeris offers a choice of five different distribution types that provide uniform coverage. In addition, all reflectors are interchangeable and rotatable in 90º increments.

All hail Xelogen
THHC Lighting introduces an addition to its Xelogen line, the Xelogen (xenon) T-5 GY6.35 bi-pin 12/24V lamp, available in 35 and 50W. It is available in both frosted/clear and long-life/high-brightness models. Applications include landscape path lights, undercabinet puck light, drop-ceiling pendants, and track lights. Lamps based on the Xelogen technology last up to 20,000 hours, reducing the labor cost for lamp replacement. Xelogen lamps are also much more tolerant when dealing with unstable voltages. Also available is the new 120V Xelogen series, offering 5,000 hours of lamp life. Currently the lamps are available in three different base configurations--E11, E12, and BA15D.

Universal Lighting Technologies introduces a new line of high-efficiency electronic ballasts for use with T5 lamps, which are designed for one- and two-lamp operation with models available for T5 and T5/HO lamps ranging from 14W to 54W. Triad T5 and T5/HO applications include indirect, pendant-mount, wall- and surface-mount, cove, undercabinet, and task lighting.
