Zero 88 has introduced the FLX S24 and FLX S48 consoles, both including access to free apps for wireless monitoring of the lighting rig and support for a range of networking accessories. FLX S24 runs up to 48 LEDs, moving lights, and conventional fixtures. FLX S48 has double the power, for control of up to 96 fixtures, as well as a touchscreen for access to palettes and show overview. Built-in tools on both models include the “RigSync” feature, step by step guidance, and auto palettes to assist with the prep. Colors can be selected via the multi-touch Color & Image Picker or via the encoder wheels or by selecting colors in Mood Boards by Lee Filters. Moving light control is done via encoder wheels, multi-touch pan/tilt grid, and the automatic "move on dark” features. Automatic effects are also included, and programming time can be further optimized with a three-step programming method for moving lights, color-changing fixtures, and conventionals. zero88.com
