The Stellar app from ARRI manages controls for SkyLink, SkyPanel, and L-Series hardware. Users have seven options to select color and lighting effects with the SkyPanel. Using the app, it is possible to instantly switch between control modes so that a color can be chosen with an interface best suited for that mode, without concern for DMX footprints or addresses. The auto layout feature allows automatic setting of the DMX start addresses for all fixtures, while managing the network to avoid any overlapping devices. The app also features automatic fixture discovery for ARRI products and the ability to import a lighting plot image so that fixtures can be laid out in a two-dimensional space. Additional features include the ability to save hundreds of color and lighting effect favorites, and share them, as well as store lighting scenes. The interface can also send gel and source-matching color data in the background directly to L-Series fixtures, with more than 300 filter choices and over 45 light source matching colors. www.arri.com
