LDI New Product: Pangolin Beyond 4.0

Pangolin Beyond version 4.0 laser control software features distributed scanning functionality that decreases flicker, increases brightness, and increases frame rate.

Pangolin Beyond version 4.0 laser control software has just been released. New distributed scanning functionality decreases flicker, increases brightness, and increases frame rate on highly graphical images. This technology allows the software and Pangolin FB4 hardware to use multiple projectors, to display laser graphics in a more refined format. Now cues can be organized into groups, and they define the life cycle and output of that cue’s playback. Multi-zone effects allow users to unite your effects with a projection zone. Audio video mixdown features a dialogue box to mix video, audio tracks, and laser content, to create a laser-over-video file for previewing a show. Frame editor now includes 50 advanced drawing tools, and the new Effect Transform tool allows adjustment of all frames in frame file at the same time. With scanner simulation, users can see how a projected image will look as it is drawn in real time. In the new export menu, there are options to schedule content on specific dates, times, choose DMX workspaces, test frames, playlists, and more. Parametric images offers more than 20 simple forms that can be used as a shape or synthesized image, or as a part of a more complex picture. The software is now also a 64-bit application.
