LDI Exhibitor Preview: Compulite Vector Violet Console

With one of the smallest footprints in the industry, Violet from Compulite provides all of the programming features of its larger siblings, including embedded 7" touchscreen, available flip-down 15.4"-wide touchscreen, video server support, effects and matrix programming, graphical color, gobo and video pickers, and two Ethernet networks for remotes, wings, and multiuser clients. Features include 2,048 outputs standard with an option for 4,096; up to 200 active playbacks; 100mm split dipless crossfaders; 20 playback faders; customizable displays; multimedia capabilities; and full tracking backup. The console has two operational modes—tracking or traditional Compulite—and supports Compulite VC, ACN, and Art-Net protocols. Offline editor PC software is also available. Compulite products will be exhibited at LDI at the Creative Stage Lighting booth (#451).
