The GigaCore 16RFO Ethernet switch, specially tailored for touring applications, brings all the functionalities of the GigaCore Ethernet switch range to a custom touring package. The 2U-high device offers rugged optical connector options, including Neutrik® opticalCON®, which can be set at the front or rear of the unit, for a flexible solution. A full backup power supply is available for redundancy at the power level. A redundant PoE supply kit is available as an option. GigaCore firmware V2 is a new core system for the company’s Ethernet switches, featuring support of precision time protocol (PTP v2), new group web interface, and enhanced PoE and multicast media support.
