At LDI at the Projection Master Classes (PMC) on October 22, award-winning designer Bruce Rodgers of Tribe Inc. will present an in-depth case study of two of his recent design projects: Rascal Flatts’ Me and My Gang tour and the Democratic National Convention (see the October issue of Live Design for the full story or visit www.livedesignonline.com to see the current issue), where video played a starring role at the Pepsi Center in Denver.
“My goal is to convey the collaborative nature between the set, lighting, video, rigging, audio, and camera departments for such an intense project as the DNC,” says Rodgers in preparing for his LDI session. “The unique impact on the design due to convention needs, secret service requirements, and last minute campaign adjustments also may interest attendees.”
Rodgers presents his cast study of the DNC along with screens producer for the event Allan Wells of Mdots Design/Fontastics.
