Willie Williams, designer of the U2 tours, from Pop Mart to Vertigo, will be a special guest at LDI2009 in Orlando, FL, participating in both the Live Design Projection Master Classes and the PRG Light Lab, in dedicated case studies about the current high-tech U2 360° Tour.
One of the most visually arresting, high-tech concert tours, U2 360° combines Willie Williams as director/design with the talents of Mark Fisher of the design firm, Stufish, on "The Claw" scenic element, and Chuch Hoberman and his team who helped create an expanding video screen based on the Hoberman sphere concept, engineered by Buro Happold, and built by Barco and Innovative Designs.
