LDI’s Newest Exhibitors Include Industry Heavy Hitters as Show Attendance Increases

With two months left until the show floor opens, dozens of new and longtime exhibitors have joined the over 400 of companies that will be displaying their products and services at LDI09 in Orlando.

The LDI tradeshow and conference will take place in the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida November 17-22. Every day, new companies are lining up to be a part of the growing LDI trade show floor, which is open November 20-22. In the last several weeks, companies representing a wide array of entertainment technology fields—some of whom are familiar industry names-- have signed on as LDI exhibitors:

Immediate Connections, Inc.

KAD Fabrications
Kaltman Creations, LLC

These new exhibitors join some of the industry’s biggest and most cutting-edge companies on the show floor, including ETC, Elation/American DJ, Chauvet, PRG, Clay Paky, Christie, TMB, City Theatrical, Strong, Rosco, Total Structures, Apollo, and the Philips family of companies consisting of Vari-Lite, Strand, Selecon, and Color Kinetics, to name just a few. Recent exhibitor interest may be due to the fact that total attendance is trending higher than both of the last two years- despite the economy. Current attendance is 8% over last year in Las Vegas and 48% above LDI2007 in Orlando.

“As we head to the end of this challenging year, the industry is seeing some hopeful signs of recovery, and that seems to be reflected in the late surge of new attendees and exhibitors,” says Sharon Morabito, LDI group show director. “We hope this translates into good news for us all as we head into both this year’s LDI and into 2010.”
