Wysiwyg Release 24 from Cast Software is available with a host of new features that builds on previous releases of R22 and R23. An improved Shaded View allows rendering online, and new LED light sources and LED flare capability offer better representation in this view. Better visualization includes enhanced beams, and improved beam footprints and shadows. Incorporation of the Inverse Square Law calculates accurate beam drop-off in visualization calculations. Additional new features include more accurate display of lamp photometrics; visibility of hot spots for added realism; time-of-day and weather conditions capability in Shaded View based on geographical location; geometry smoothing in OpenGL; and CITP protocol for streaming video content. R24 also has more intuitive and logical design tools and an improved dongle security system.
